How To Deal With Severe Pain

#TITLE#How Tough Can The Brain Be In Controlling Sensations In Your Body?#/TITLE# by Janet J. Mericle I must confess I have a strange behavior I am going to tell you about. When I’m in physical pain, like a stubbed toe or heading out for a run in pretty low temperatures, I say, “Mind over matter, mind over matter, mind over…” I continuously repeat this over and over again, and somehow… it works. But it was not possible for me when I was young. I remember being 5 years old, going in for vaccines. Not even the well prepared army of doctors, and my parents could hold me down me that easy. Then I grew up and here I am -staring – pretty relaxed when a nurse is trying to take some blood out of my arm, I can actually stay still for the whole process. It is just as effortless as having control on your breathing, and remain calm. Now that I think of it I believe it was not that painful as I thought but there was a lot of drama going there. But nowadays that changed, but why? And why is it that an expected pain could impact in someone’s attitude in different levels? Based in the method I told you before, the mind could be capable of directing your body. My experience tells me yes. Please think what is pain per se? You will feel it for one second or a moment because it is the reaction to something that hurt you. Then, when you are feeling it you have another thing to confront: hold on! See how every human act in a different way when having the same intensity of pain. Being afraid impacts in the mind-body connection. If how we handle pain is an option, then why would anyone choose to handle it badly, making the painful event perhaps even more painful? Like when I was a kid and basically needed a strait jacket just to get a few harmless shots in. Directly speaking I think I was nervous. I didn’t know what was happening, had never experienced that before. Instead of an explanation, the nurse gave me a candy even if I kicked him in the stomach! And every time I wanted something, I just had to say louder how much my arm hurt, and I’d get it. The most I exaggerate, the biggest benefits I was able to get. Not mattering the rest of the kids at home I was the most important one. So, please explain to me why would a man like to be in pain? Of course I need to ask again if there is a possibility to use your mind to understand pain. Some studies have proven people can do it so we may have good news for the world who suffers a lot because of pain. A friend was in a painful accident, but was able to still make it, using a wheelchair, and all, to a new training program he had just enrolled in, which was founded by scientist and mathematician Keith Raniere. He was very surprised about his fast treatment and he was feeling this method was helping him to feel fine and pain was considerably reduced Nxivm. This is just an example of a NXIVM program specialized in handling pain Nxivm – Executive Success Programs.
